. . in-ground tanks
- in-ground
- In-ground tanks are increasingly being applied to domestic and commercial uses where the collection point is:
- at ground level or ground space is limited or
- an above ground tank would cause visual impact or
- regulatory difficulties.
- The inground range of tanks can be used in a number of allied applications such as:
- stormwater capture to help in the collection, reuse or disposal of rain and surface waters.
- process and waste water The inground tank facilitates a conventional gravity drainage system, wash down bunds for environmental control, pretreatment / settlement tank for discharge to public infrastructure facilities.
- sewage management as a holding tank , collection well for pump-out, as a segmented tank with chambers for effulent seperation and settlement or as as full aerated waste water treatment system.
- chemical wash-down polyethylene or polypropelyne have varying ability to resist chemical attach and provide a barrier to environmental leaching.
- OneWaternaturally can supply a series of in-ground tanks in polyethylene to cater for sewage application and collection of water and waste water. It is important to note that our installation instructions are critical to the application of any warranty claim for these product lines.
- 'Murray' - 5500 litre capacity rainwater or sewage holding tank;
- 'Hunter' - 3000 litre capacity for stormwater and sewage applications;
- 'Williams' - 1250 litre capacity tank for trap pit or pump-out applications;
- 'Cooks' - 450 litre capacity collection well tank and riser.
The major inground tank lines are Finite Element Analysis (FEA) engineered tanks that are available for two levels of application. The Toroid range from Tankmasta that can sustain wet reactive clay ground pressure and the Ecovault series that can sustain pressure equivilant to SG 1 otherwise requiring concrete support below 1.2 metre depth for reactive clay in potentially dry well applications.
OneWaternaturally also offer other industry tanks that a client may call for however our recommendations are specific; FEA designed tanks are the tanks that should be considered for maintaining structural integrity from buckling in worst case scenario of reactive clay ground pressure at the maximum depth installed.
