The type of application will generally indicate the selection of a suitable pump and control system. The following table can be used as a guide:

Such applications include:

irrigation systems - requiring dedicated flow rate at a higher pressure at delivery point;
spear point water source - shallow or deep well;
high vertical lift applications - for elevated tanks or bore hole source water;
booster pump applications - high rise buildings or process requirements using a multi stage or jacking pump.

Each application which has a unique requirement can be tuned to the performance and operating conditions required.
