The pump is equipped with quality features designed to support the operation of the pump in demanding and difficult access applicatiomns. Special and unique features of the HCP grinder pump include :

• Auto reset motor protector - protecting motor from abnormal heat and current;
• Duel silicon carbide mechanical seals in oil bath with extras oil seal protection;
• Plus a WD water detector sensing the influtration of moisture past the initial seal protecting the motor, identifying maintenance needs for long term pump operation;
• double protection barrier grommet and epoxy encapulation of stripped leads to eliminate wicking from power cable;
• A radial cutter and hardened, corrosion protected cutter ring. The radial cutter reduces the torque on the motor improving efficiency, chops fibrous and plastised material for effective pumping of sanitary waste.
